So gonna clean my MAF sensor. Not very car minded so need few tips.

Do I need to disconnect the battery to do this and will disconnecting the battery anyway a good thing to do sometimes to reset ecu.

Should I clean the throttle body as well why im there. Got CRC MAF Cleaner.

Is this hard or take too long?

Did mine the other day, couldnt be bothered going out and buying proper cleaner so I took the MAF out and trickled metho onto it for about 10 seconds, seems to have done something to it because the car feels a bit different post-clean!

just cleaned it used crc maf cleaner let dry didnt see any dirt on wire but put back in took round block seemed fine smoother even placebo effect idk?
