My mate has is about to buy a TR GLX 94 model. Not sure how many KM are on it, but is there anything he should watch out for?

Is it a 6 cyl or 4 cyl? Auto or manual Sedan or wagon?

I could be wrong, but isn't the GLX a carbie model? If so, I believe they were renowned for chewing through fuel, I'd stay well clear and get an EFI model instead. Unless it's dead cheap and can be justified.

he is trading his VL for it, and yes it is a carbie model. not sure if its 4 or 6, and it would be a sedan, he would not be seen dead in a wagon :P

A GLX is the carbie version of the 2.6 in TR and TS models, the GLX is the base model.

he is poor as piss, but I will pass that on anyway :)
i would tell him to keep his VL to be honest, at least untill a better car comes along carbie models as mentioned where shocking on fuel ( efi arnt much better really )
