Yeah Im going to mod this thing to hell, just have to start small so that she does not have a fit, Ive got so many ideas ranging from neons, interior refits, to engine body mods.

I know I ask alot of quesions but thats how I learn!

Has anyone ever heard of these kind of aftermarket pedals causing hassles with insurance or rego? I remember buying a pair of these for a mate's 18th and he couldn't put them in his car for one of these reasons. Just curious to find out, cause I might whack some in my car, but I don't want to cause problems with insurance.

We bought the car unregisted and had to have it RWC as we are getting it on the road friday, I asked the guy that did the RWC and he said its fine to have them but he does not like them cause of the fact he has a big foot and seems to fit all the pedals at once.

As for insurance I asked RACQ today and they said it was fine and dandy, but it could vary depending whom you talk to and who you use as your carrier.

I had some on a Ford Laser I wrote-off once upon a time  *long story*

SGIO Insurance still paid out though...

I've got Momo pedals on my current ride, I'll post some pics up later in the day.

Nice Touch mate, looks good :)

I've heard the same, that they void insurance and I've had a cop make my mate take his pedals off there and then or he was going to yellow sticker him...

Yeah i am in S.A here and asked the question of legality and was told that in the main they are illegal if they dont have a certain percentage of rubber contact area on them ,as this varys from brand and style I didnt go down this road cause if it aint legal i think that would classify my car as unroadworthy.
