New ones are over $550 each, secondhand are on average $250 - $300 for a pair
Some places will work on the fact that these do not wear as such and will charge between 50 and 75% of new price and given that an insurance company will gladly pay that much for these they go on the basis why sell them for half price when they can get better money

They are a popular part at the wreckers. Consequently the price is up. Simple really. Keep looking if that price doesn't suit you.

well went there today and he quoted me 250 each. So 500 for a set. Think that came with everything to just plug in and go. Still compared to the prices you guys were gettin its pretty steep. I guess you pay for convienience. Might just suck it up and get em.

before you splash out that kinda cash, have a look at the for sale threads, or talk to Mal (MadMagna), I'm sure he could do you set for a lot cheaper than that (I think he does them for around $275), even with postage will be a lot lot less than $500.

Agreed 500 sounds like a big rip,you can get the alot cheaper fairly easy.:)
Theres some for sale on AMC, Mal (madmagna) should have some in his e-bay store, and there are often a few sets on e-bay, anywhere from $150 to $250 is common. There are 2 types: 2 piece parras have a glass face and a metal bracket on the side that holds the indicator in, and 1 piece are plastic and have the indicattor build in as one complete unit.
