hey.......
I just bought this amp......its a Boss AS-2500 2 x 2500w max, i cant find RMS specs

Out put power max 5000 watts
Bridged output power max 5000 watts
Frequency response 20z~30KHz +-dB

all i want to know is power in RMS!!!!!!!!!

are you sure you read 5000 w?

anyway total output would be more like a couple of 100WRMS

What's the fuse rating? Typically if you take P=VI whereby P (total power) = 13.8x(total fuse ratings) then divide the whole lot by 2 to account for Class A/B amp efficiency you will get a fairly close figure.

E.g. 2x20A fuses:

P=(13.8x40)/2
Result: P=276W or 138WRMSx2 channels.

Maybe you should hook it up to the 5000W Pioneer sub :D Good old boss and their no existent RMS figures.

TH, why did you buy this amp?

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but Boss audio is known for making somewhat suspect quality amplifiers. :(

Yeah so iv herd, but iv had a boss ba2900 for over a year (250x4) bridging in 2ohm and its been a good bang for buck......blown some mosfets in it caused by a faulty sub coil, other that its been good

As for the fuse thing........i have'nt got the amp yet so im not sure.
