Quick question. I noticed one of the small tail lights is out. Which bulbs do they use as I plan to drop by a shop on the way home. Are they the w5w wedge or the h5w bayonet style?

Thanks but I think you are talking about the wrong bulb. The Veradas have a smaller light in the top corner (where the magnas have an indicator) for normal taillight. I know the brake light uses a wedge style.

Sorry Vlad... from memory all of my TL tail globes are wedge style, but the Verada may be different.

Can anyone confirm which type wedge it is exactly? Is it the same size as the main brake/tail light combination?

Owners handbook says the Verada is the same as Magna - 21/5 watt wedge. Easy to check, just 2 plastic nuts, pull trim back and remove socket to check...30 secs max. Strange that the Magna and Verada owners handbook does not list the one the OP describes.

I am not after the 21/5 watt brake/tail combo wedge, just the 5 watt tail light. Got it out at work in the end. Took 10 minutes. Could not use my fingers to twist the holder to remove it. Had to get a pair of pliers and twist it out. That bulb is in the same position as the Magna's indicator which I guess in the later models use a w16w bulb for extra brightness.

If it's the smaller circle for the tail light. That's a T10 wedge.
