Hey everyone.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a good Mobile Auto Electrician that they recommend. I want to install some under dash LED's to illuminate the floor as well as hard wire a GPS cause I hate the idea of using the ciggarete lighter with cables all over my dash.
I know this may be an easy job but I am personally not comfortable attempting it myself. So if anyone can recommend a Mobile Auto Electrician that would be great. Also eastern suburbs too.
Cheers,
Boosty

What you probably really want is a car audio installer.

yeah, its pretty easy to do......you just need to organise a time with one of us to do your car for you....led and a socket for your gps are a piece of piss....and i will be a lot cheaper than a mobile sparky or what ever..

I somehow new the LED king would reply to this thread...
Paul, like Mike said, is a simple DIY day process that can be organized with the "gang". It will also be a learning experience for you too. But if you feel more comfortable with an electrician, be prepared to pay for it. Do you have your LED's and wiring ready?

lol...and even if you don't have your wring ready,a quick trip to Repco or Supercrap with sort it out....ideally,for you gps ,all you need is a 12v socket from the store ,which you plug your gps it too,and simply run two wire to the plug that is under the console, and there should be plugs for your footwells,if there isnt, its not hard to do...
All you need to do is provide a good set of crimps a la Narva,Male/female blue insulated ones,or Bill can show us his solder magic ,but you still will need some crimps

Hey all. Yeah it's gonna cost $60 to get these items done. It's not a huge amount of cash and I would feel bad to inconvenience other members by having a DIY day. I'd personally rather save my DIY day credits for my 380 brake upgrades down the track. But thank you to all of you that have replied.
