Hi, we have a 91 TR Magna, we have a heating issue with it, the top hose gets hot, but the bottom hose is cold, any suggestions as too what is causing this?

Do you mean the radiator top/bottom hose or the heater top/bottom hose?
If it's the radiator hose, try replacing the thermostat, and if that doesn't work get the radiator flushed.

Top hose gets water from the engine and will be hot. The water cools down as it flows through the radiator, so the bottom hose will be cooler than the top when the car has been running for only a few minutes. Take it for a decent run and get it up to temperature, then check.

It was def up to running temp, have just removed whats left of the thermostat, it was pretty cactus most of it had rusted away, so would i be right in thinking it would not of been the thermostat, as the way it was it would be like having the thermostat open all the time, might have to do a flush, is there any thing you can buy to flush it with, and if there is, any recommendations,

id say radiator is blocked if the bottom hose doesnt heat up

the bottom hose is where the cool water returns to the engine ;)
it should be warm but not as hot as the top one
