ok so we went to cairns today to take the kids to the beach and stoped off at a shopping center first. When we came out to leave the steering lock was on and the ignition barrel was jammed. couldn't move from lock to ACC. tryed for ages but wouldn't budge....so got a local mechanic to help me remove the barrel and have a look. seems like a spring inside the barrel has has broken and jammed it.. cant remove the barrel from the holder cos it needs to be on ACC for the pin to push in and slot out. also found out ya cant bypass the barrel cos of the immobiliser...

in the end we put the car on a trailer and took the POS home...
could anyone tell me if this is a relativly quick fix taking the barrel to the lock smith on monday?
