Say if i was to add a K&N Closed Air Intake System, how would i go about installing the thing? Do i unclip the air box and remove the whole thing? etc. etc.

If it's the one Im thinking of too, you pull all air intake out and relocate the MAS(can't remember) it would be cheaper to get a K&N panel filter, take off the front snorkel and replace it with some pipe going from the oval inlet to the stock box down behind the front bar under the battery, does just as good of a job

Just go to any auto store and look at all the induction range, you could use silicon piping and make a really neat job or just get a piece of flexible piping from the inlet and down too the front bumper, a auto store should have all that

I used 100mm pvc pipe from bunnings and heat to form and bend pipe.

I used aluminium piping with silicone bends. Had the aluminium polished up to be shiny, but that was a while back. Could do with a new polish job :)

I've got a set of stainless piping and silicon bends.. It's basically a copy of the RPW intake kit.. No filter

But they're just sittin in my garage of you're interested..

I just didnt bother coz I sold my TF..

Hey mate did it require allot of work to make your own custom Intake? i had a look at several do it yourself jobs with particular brands would be looking at doing the aluminum piping as i think it would be allot better Cheers Chris.
