Hi, is anyone out there had a TL LPG Magna had a KL blackout instrument plug in and have no problem? I just plug mine in tonight, everything work ok except for the fuel gauge. I had a full tank of LPG filled and it doesn't registered. The fuel warning light also come on as well. It starts ok as well but just that stupid fuel gauge doesn't work. In this case, is the blackout instrument not design for magnas that runs LPG? Or is it a faulty gauge? Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.

I sY would be with how the guage was wired into the car as i know the cluster is plug and play.

Where did this one come from and does it work on petrol

Is your car a factory dedicated gas model?
The dedicated Gas TW I had would display LPG to the left side of the odometer. My wife's dedicated gas TJ exec does the same so maybe the cluster's on the factory dedicated gas vehicles are wired slightly different.
For MM the TW cluster's fuel gauge took it's info from the gauge on the LPG tank.

Mal, I do not have a second car to test the gauge out. Everything seems working ok. May be the wiring work differently.

Mine is a factory dedicated gas model. It does very good kms! Mine has the LPG on top of the odometer readings. Any clues on connections?

You'll probably need to take the rear cover off the original cluster & trace the wiring to the gauge then compare it to the blackout cluster. There are some differences in the wiring as my dedicated gas TW had an audible alarm which would actvate/scream at you when both low fuel lights were on and the fuel tank was almost empty.
