View Full Version : What's This On The Engine? See pic.
What is the round devise on the left side of the engine (drives side, near the timing belt) and the hose running across the engine (from the throttle body area)?
See the engine bay photo on link...

Ive never actually seen one on that side of the engine, wouldn't that get in the way when doing the belt?

Everything gets in the way when doing the belt! lol
The summary said the vehicle was ULP, but now I see the red LPG sticker on the number plate. Thanks.

The car has LPG, will be ULP as well as LPG on this car, tank may or may not be in date but if you dont want the LPG it is saleable
If you are looking at the car to put back on the road, get a VicRoads report, this will show you what was listed, if they show LHS or RHS immersion you will need to do some of the following to register in Vic
Full system check for ABS, SRS etc WITH printout from a Mits Dealer *approx $400
If engine damage listed, new engine, VIV will not allow current engine to be used even if runnign like clockwork
If there is evedence that the seat belts got wet, BRAND NEW belts to be fitted and ahve to be genuine
That is the start of it, is very hard to get a flood damaged car registered
Ah, helps if I look at the word part too... I feel a bit dumb now.
