View Full Version : Problems with TIMING 95 model verada V6 (VIDEO and Pictures)

Hi there!
Im new in here!
Can someone help me out with my frends Magna! Hi took the timing belt off to change a crankshaft seal but hi didn mark marks first!
Engine strarts but something it wrong! Everithing looks ok. All the marks are lined up!

what are the cyl compression pressures

I check 1 and 3 cylinder and they are 128!
Before changind the crank seal whos everything ok!
It has to be somekindof timing problem!

It looks like the timing is out on the right hand by 4 teeth going by the marks on the timing belt cog.
There might be a chance that the valve(s) has hit the piston(s) being that far out on the right hand bank which are cylinders 1,3 & 5 which could explain the low compression on those cylinders, 1&3.
