After i had a crash my eyelids have a few little chips out of them. I think they are fibreglass or something similar. Can i just sand these back with ordinary dry / wet and dry sandpaper and save on cost of getting a panel spraying shop to do it before i get them sprayed?
If they are gelcoated then yes you should be able to, just careful not to go through the gelcoat. Big chips can be bogged, just try to sand inside them first.

The chips are very fine and won't require much rubbing back. the actual material is like a firm plastic feel, i don't know if that means its gelcoat or not.
Can you get a pic of the front where theres some chips and the back? Does the back of it look kind of hairy?
Bigs made them. They are gelcoated fiberglass.

The back is pretty smooth i guess, wouldn't ever describe it as hairy. Cheers dean, does this meani can sand them back or what?
Yep just try not to go all the way throgh the gelcoat, should be between 0.5 and 1.5mm thick
