I have in my garage both a Ralliart Enkei and a s2 VRX wheel. Both never have been on a car, both factory rubber, both missing centrecaps, both awesome looking wheels.

Just for an interest thing i decided to see what the wheels with tyres weighed.

Ralliart Enkei : 21.02kg
S2 VRX wheel: 21.0KG

Yep, with factory rubber, never used a s2 VRX wheel weighs less then (basicly the same) as a Ralliart Enkei. I thought the Ralliart's would be much lighter by looking at them

Did everybody already know this or what? cause it wasn't what i had expected.

My scales could be wrong but both wheels were weighed on the same scales so it doesnt matter if they are wrong.

The tyres on the Ralliart wheel are different factory tyres to the VRX wheel i must say. But didn't think that would affect weight much.

Yes I have both these wheels and yes they weigh the same :)

I would have thought the same as you: Enkei being a performance wheel would weigh less, however it looks like Mitsubishi knew what they were doing when they choose the VRX its wheels :)

Really great wheels the s2 VRX ones. My faviourite stock wheels by far i think across the car brands. back in 02 anyway.

I've heard different tyres can vary a lot between weight, but I still think it would be close. would be interesting...

you wouldn't think the RA tyre would be a heavy tyre if it's more of a performance car though.
