The fuel cap seems to have lost its resistance so when the pin is released the fuel cap just stays in position, then ofcoarse when i let go of the tab it just locks again so basicly i need two people to open the fuel cover.

Anybody know a way to fix this?

Usually is the spring inside the lid has either broken or has been bent too far

I had that problem with my commodore - quick easy fix was to simply place a lump of plastic foam about 100mm square onto of the fuel cap before you close the door....this then acts as a spring and pops the door. Cost is zero.

I cant even see a spring inside the door. Thanks hako! great idea!

Now only if i could find the part of one of my eyelids that needs shaved down to stop the bonnet from popping up :(
