I have a TF sports with the fog lamps and stork switch from factory does any one know if my car should have the light on the dash board somewhere to indicate if they are on and if so where about's is the light so i can check why it isnt working

If I remember correctly..

My TF Sports never had one.. I think they brought that little light out in the TH onwards.. I'll take a look at a few cars here at work and see if I can find out for you!

You could remove the cluster from your car, and then with the dials facing the sun or other light source, look through the cluster from behind for a fog lamp looking symbol. If there is one there, put a globe in and see if it lights up when you switch the foggies on.

just been through them all and there isnt one even put globes in where they were blank and they didnt light up either. Guess they couldn,t put one in on the TF but i did however notice they have the SRS, 4WS, ABS, Security and a brake light as well with out globes in them on the cluster

Have you got ABS..? If you do silly stuff and keep the handbrake up when doing a sick skid, the Anti-Lock light comes on coz the ABS goes WTF DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! and stops working till it settles down and you switch off the car and switch it back on..

Have you got Airbags..? If you've got Airbags the SRS light should come on..

Have you got the remote immobiliser/central locking..? If you've got an immobiliser the Security light should come on for a short while when you lock the car..

I have ABS and understand the SRS lights so i guess it was an option for the TF sports model and the security didn't have a light in it so have put one in but still no fog light indicator at all not even a bulb lit up when i filled in the blank holes and also whats the 4WS light for???

The 4WS light is for faults in the 4-wheel steering. I think that is legacy light for JDM spec.

TF has No Fog Light Indicator

I've got a TF in here at the moment and no fog light indicator..

cool thanxs for your help wouold love to figure a way out to put one in it or perhaps if a later model dash is compatible find my self one of them to use

Did the KFs come out with blackout dashes? If not, why not source a KF dash with all the lights.

I think they came with the standard ones..

They might have started in the KHs...

Hit up Mal (MitsiFix) and see what he has available and see if he can point you in the right direction with a cluster, loom etc.

Just put a KH blackout dash in my KF. Has all the lights needed and looks excellent. Bit of work though

The veradas from that series have the same cluster and also the foglight light. It lives next to the high beam light.
