OK, wondering if someone could help with a problem I am currently experiencing... and yes, heaps of fog light threads, but this is a specific qu.
I'm in the process of trying to hook up a factory stalk to my fog lamps. Previously I've been running an external relay and using an aftermarket switch (and wiring, etc) and the fog lamps have been working fine. I still want to use the aftermarket relay and wiring etc, but incorporate the factory stalk to this setup.
So, I have the factory fog light equipped stalk, and have tapped into the additional two wires on the factory stalk with the fog switch (green wire - running to relay to activate, brown wire - grounded under dash) and the fog lamps are not working. Previous threads on this confirm that these are the two wires I need to use.
The only wire I have deleted from my previous working set up is the power wire, that was running to the aftermarket switch to illuminate it when the fog lamps were switched on. I don't think the power wire was doing anything else.
Any clues on where I should be looking to fix this? Obviuously I'm guessing the removal of the power wire is the source of the issue... but not sure where to go from here.
