I'll follow the 3rd gen rear spring guide in the DIY section when changing the rears over, I'd assume it wouldn't be too different in a 2nd gen. But can anyone help me with the fronts? Maybe just write up a quick few steps on what to undo to get the springs/shock out of the car, everything after that I can handle.
Thanks.
2nd gen fronts are the exact same as 3rd gen.
Remove the 3 nuts holding the strut to the strut tower, remove the 2 bolts holding the strut to the hub. Make sure to have the front jacked up evenly else the front swaybar will push against locking the strut in place.

if your pulling the spring out . you will a 19mm 17mm 14mm 12mm socket . while cars still on the ground remover plastic caps on sturt towers loossing the 19mm nut in the centre (just break it dont totaly remove it ) jack up front .place on car stands .remove wheels. undo the two 17mm bolts bottom off sturt. and drop the stub axle . twist sturt for easyer axest to 12mm bolt that hold the brake line. then the three 14mm nuts on top of sturt. and out they come . only loossing the 19mm if your removing springs
