i have a small issue the side mirror on my manga was broken when my wife ran in to another car's door as they opened it while parked, i have a replacement however I'm stumped as to how i put it on, the old mirror is off but I'm not sure how to get the bolt holes on the new mirror to attach it.

Take the interior door apart, window winder if manual, screw in the little cup and screw in the air duct into the door, should pull of from bottom then lift from the back upwards, then you will see the bolts holding it in, make sure the window is wound up( can't remember off te top of my head if the window gets in the way or not, don't think so)

On my TE, I just replaced the LH outside mirror, I turned the mirror 90%, using a 10mm socket extension bar and ratchet undo the two 10mm bolts that are down in the base of the mirror, lifted the mirror away from the car, unplug the electrical wire for the mirror remote and you are done. To replace, make sure your mirror is 90% to the base, put your two 10mm bolts in, connect your electrical wire for remote operation, line up bolts and cinch down . Tighten, but do not over tighten so as to crack the base, return mirror to operating position, test electrical function and you are done. No need to remove any interior trims whatsoever.

This is for Gen 3 Magna!

Wtf with door apart rubbish, just swing the housing and look down into mirror and you will see 2 bolts. If you have removed the glass and can see a square plasic part the glass clips onto this part or if you see 3 holes in the housing this plate is missing and housing needs replacing. May help if you can post a pic of the mirror lol
