gday mate,

long story......................

I broke my crown wheel and output shaft when i blew the diff, but didnt find this out until the gearbox/diff was taken out. because i wanted my car back to put in our club display at auto salon they kinda fixed the wheel and shaft so that i could at least drive the car. i am not game enough to drive around tho as the parts have only been put in without all the pre-tensioning etc, so ive only driven it home, to AS then back home. the car is driveable but i havent given it any stick or anything as i dont want anything to break and wreck the new diff. im now waiting for the output shaft which has to come from japan as well, but im expecting it late next week.

u can definately feel the difference with the lsd tho, and i cant wait to get it fixed properly and give it a good thrashing :D

hell yeah! even with traction control on she'll spin the tires a fair bit, and dropped down into 2nd through a round-a-bout u still really gotta account for torque steer. well with my shagged shocks, & 1/2 bald tires anyways! :D

we can use traction control on auto's basically from my understadning it realises when a wheel is spinning and eases brake on til u get traction on that wheel, but wheres the fun in that?

doesnt ease on the brakes.. You lose total power through the accelerator until your wheels both have sufficient grip.
