One of my friends just bought a lancer which came with extractors and an aftermarket exhaust, except she dosnt want it to be loud and droney, wat kinda exhaust/muffler would still allow for the performance and fuel efficiency but without the noise?

Hi go to muffler place that is where i went for my 97 magna and after 7 years doing it, it still sounds the same ask for a rear muffler say you don't want it to loud but you still want a nice sound.

Go back to stock. i think it is just psychological that sound=perfomance without being illegal. The cat converter itself is the major restrictor. Just choose a nice tip for cosmetics and pod filter for nice sound.

Yeh will probs go back to stock and weld on a nice sensible tip. (hate people in lancers with stupid loud exhausts lol)
