Yeah, love the stuff. SPL that is.
I'm not seriously into it at all, but have played with subs & sounds and love the tech side.
My claim to fame is only 134.1dB or similar, but probably a better claim is to have 2x 12" earthquake subs in a big bandpass box inside a Mazda 121 bubble :)

thats only a little bit :P all the pillars are gray but the roof will be too and the bottom section of the dash and the sub box will be black shag aswell.. :P so much fluffay!

Not so sure about the pods though, they look kinda totally out of place on the dash! Were you going for a tuned enclosure size for the mids or just how they ended up? Personally I would have hugged the A pillars a lot more. I imagine it might be grounds for a yellow sticker too concerningly.

yeah theyre a bit oversized but i may redo them later on and like you said move them down and out.. but apparently theyre not illegal ive questioned cops and theyve told me the same thing and also been pulled over and a cop rubbed the piller looked at the pods and said "oooh fluffy" and proceeded to look over my car.. but sure enough if i get an officer in a bad mood they would slap a canary on there...

cost thats gone into it so far isnt too much.. the subs, sub amps and front stage amps are the things that are gonna bleed me dry :P but currently with just the front stage i'm pretty stoked with how its turning out!!

Yeah everyones different.. I did choose fluff cos its easy, but I mainly chose fluff cos the reaction i got from my last box being covered in fluff.. it gets people having a good time.. :)

Phil aint the loudest daily in Aus man :P Theres probably 10-20 cars around putting out similar numbers to him in the country.. if not more. The bloke who actually did the build has built 4 cars now of similar caliber.

Few weeks ago Phil was around mine at a party, we got drunk and decided it was a good idea crank it at midnight... never seen the cops arrive so quickly :S

what numbers is phil doing? and i know charger had a few loud cars but i was under the infuence his loudest car atm is a single dd 9915 i know there are louder cars in australia, but i dont know of any that someone drives around everyday and is their main car.. and yeah its always fun to check out the polices reaction time.. no way beter than rattling the pictures off the neighbours walls :P
