can i change my tranny from tirptrinick to manual tranny ?
i own a 2007 gts none mivec
could it be possible if it is
anyone has a link to help me with ?

It should be possible, but requires certain expertise. The manual transmission will bolt straight up to the block but you also need to think about getting the clutch through the firewall and engine/transmission computer differences. Electronically there is a fair amount more to think about in the 380 compared to the magna. By the way it's spelt TIPTRONIC

When I ordered my manual series III, I had to wait for about 2 months for it. The dealership said an auto would have been available within a week.

When I asked why, he called the factory and asked. They said the ECU systems were significantly different in nearly every way and it would take a while for an engine/transmission combo to be built and then shipped from Japan.

They also said that all the engine development was first done using the auto box, and then once that was all done they started again from scratch to adapt the engine management to a manual installation.

It's all hearsay though - passed down the grapevine, so don't know how true it all is. I was certainly given the impression that there are many, significant differences and that the electronics for the manual may well be more complicated.
