Probably a silly question and i know its been covered but search dont like looking for HID KIT lol
After seeing the difference with MRSPL's HID/Projector Combo was thinking that HID's would be a good idea.
Question is are they the standard H4 in the High/low beam and H7 in the high beam side
Would i have issues running HID's in both sockets?
found these on eBay cheap and local
H4 8000k Hi-Lo $64.50 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H4-8000K-Bi-Xenon-HID-Kit-HI-LO-Beam-35W-6000k-4300k-/330561355181?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf6fdfdad)
and i assume these would work with the Hi Beam (Inner Light)
H7 6000k Single Beam $55 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H7-6000K-HID-Xenon-Conversion-Kit-Single-Beam-light-35W-/230615612495?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35b1c2fc4f)
Total $119.50 Seems reasonable for good lights, I do alot of country trips and have found the standard lights to be pretty poor even on a clear night.
Do not use bulbs only you should be using projectors and 4300k bulbs if you are after improved lighting performance.

To start with ,you have your bulb specs mixed up. What headlights do you have, once you figure that out, then you can choose better what suits you.And 8k will be a horible color to run, stick to 4300 or 6000
Std lights are H4 LOW /HIGH H1 -HIGH INNER
PARAS H7 LOW H1 HIGH

I disagree. Yes, projectors are optimal, but HIDs in the standard parabolics is still an improvement, especially on high beam. They're not great, but it's better.
And as said, stick to 4300k (6000k tops). 4300k = white with an ever so slight yellow tinge. 6000k - slight blue tinge. 4300k gives the optimal amount of light, plus the bluer you go, the more fatiguing it becomes.
All HID kits are not created equal - I wouldn't be buying the cheapest kits available on eBay.
There's no issue with running HIDs in both your low beam and high beam - I do it in my car. There's a fair of wiring involved, but that's why I got mine installed professionally lol
If you're after good lighting, have you considered a set of spotlights? My dad had a set of Hella 4000 Compacts on his F6X coupled with a 55w 6000k HID kit. Good spread and about 400m of very bright light (plus signs/reflectors for another 500m). I reckon they'd fit well on the front of a Magna too - I sized them up on my car (pic below). If I did more highway driving I'd probably install them:

No they aren't. They are not designed for parabolas and can not direct light properly. They are illegal and annoy the **** out of other drivers.

Thanks for all the replies guys better to ask and find out than buy the wrong stuff and get stuck with it.
Projectors are probably the best option overall, might have to just build up bit by bit till i have everything i need then crack those lights open :)
MR SPL will take you up on that better than dealing with unknowns on eBay.
Probably do it all when my tax check comes back as atm im buying a heap of standard parts for my forester and doing the service etc to get it ready for sale.
Interesting that the 2009 ZG Outlander has HID in the same parabolic headlight as in our 2007 ZG. Only the ZH from Oct 2009 onwards had the projector style. I had a closer look at the difference between the Outlander parabolic and the KW and KJ and noticed that the KW/KJ are similar design but the Outlander looks more like those in the highbeams.
