hi there, i have a 2000 TH 3L Magna. ive been trying to look up how to replace my alternator air con belt and havent found specifically how to do it. ive bought the belt, just need instructions if anyone can help me out cheers

Hi mate I just changed mine the other day for the first time, if you have car ramps drive your car up on them and get underneath, there is a idler pulley just above the engine oil filter, loosen off the bolt in the centre of the pulley and just under the pulley is the adjustment bolt (you can only see this bolt when under the car) its just above the oil filter, back off this bolt enough so you can remove the belt, hope this helps, cheers

hi i just replaced my power steering belt. but cant get the alt-ac belt back on (same old one). pulley is all the way down. but belt just reaches maybe center of pulley not more. so theres no way i can get it on. is there any trick or what did i miss? got a 96 TE 3.0

Pulley needs to be up not down it pulls down to tension it
