Hmmm they look interesting... is it a one size fits all? Or do they do specific fitting?

One of our forum sponsors has a group buy on these at the moment, sizes are listed

They are great wiper, especially at speed.

I'm interested in the group buy, but if Bosch sell new blades they can be replaced instead?

if you refer to the 'aero' style of blade, then no the blade itself cannot be replaced, the whole assembly is replaced, hence the elevated costs. Even at top $ though, they are the best wiper option out there

They come standard on a lot of newer cars. I already have a set on my Falcon and 380. I know someone that replaced the blades in his Aerotwin wipers but I am unsure what he used. I would only like to use a Bosch refill blade to keep the quality.

If you have the aero twin there is no replacement refill, as the whole wiper blade arm is replace with a new one.

Did you not read my post? A guy I used to work with replaced the blade in his areotwin, which I think is a good idea considering the cost. It's the metal arm on regular wipers that also needs replacing for good performance, which is negated a lot by the plastic arm, which I'm sure is also cheaper/easier to produce, yet it costs so much more and is touted as a one time use only product.

He pulled his apart and changed the blade, I am keen to do this but with a good Bosch refill.

Please do not give attitude without first checking your information. I am quite sure that Sparky did read your post, I am also quite sure that your friend is either confused as to the product he was using, or he was talking out his arse. The Bosch website, along with this brochure (http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/downloads/DL_brochure.pdf) on their range of wiper blades (Which was posted earlier in this thread by SH00T (Did you not read his post?) (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88866&p=1403724&viewfull=1#post1403724)) clearly states that the Bosch Aerotwin's are a complete replacement unit that is NOT refillable. ;)

These blades retail for $40 each and are at times quite difficult to find for sale instore or online. At the moment, Megatron is organising a group buy in this thread (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88238) for $26 / blade delivered. Thats a saving of $28 per pair. There have been plenty of members post stating they have had years from this product aswell, which shows how truly good value this is. :)

My friend is a very smart individual, the only thing that makes me question his intelligence is his love for Holden, his brains are wasted on those cars. Still, he has replaced the blades, it can't be impossible. I have stated this has happened. I am interested in doing this with quality refills, which should also be possible as I guess Bosch make them for their line of metal armed wiper blades.

The group buy is great value, I already have two sets of these so if I can refill them then I come out in front, otherwise the group buy it is. I'll ask him tomorrow how hard it was.
