Evening,
I've notice since I've had the TJ Sports, that every time I put the pedal to the floor, that the TCL flashes on and off. I understand this is indicating a fault with the TCL.
Unfortunately my car manual does really go in depth with detail. Has any one experienced this, and/or know what components could be at fault?
Cheers
p.s: or completely disable it?

The green TCL indicator on the dash? If that's lit up, it means TCL is engaging - which is an inevitability if you've got your foot flat to the floor. Wouldn't surprise me if it flashes on and off a bit if you're really caining it.
Not sure if you can completely disable it, but there is a TCL-off button on the dash (to the right side of the steering column).

Yeah the TCL indicator on the dash. I thought I read somewhere on here that if it continously flashes on and off it is indicating an error in the system...
Continuously means even when you are idling.
If continuously flashing only when you are accelerating, then you need new tyres ;)

I think I have had situations where the TCL light in my KJ flashed as the TCL engaged, and continued to flash until I next started the car.
In my case I was crossing a creek causeway with a concrete base, which was constantly wet and so was slimy. Car spun one or both front wheels, whilst the rears were still on a gravel road etc etc
I think the TCL ECU just got signals form the wheels that it thought couldn't be a valid "real world" situation, so signalled a fault. On next start up, all the sensors checked-out and system worked fine.
If you go to www.lisho.net and follow a couple of links, you can get the Mitsi genuine Workshop Manual - it'll explain TCL systems and trouble-shooting. I suspect in your case nothing is actually wrong.

I have same issue with US 2003 Diamante VRX. After flooring accellerator TCL flashes until turned off with TCL OFF button then stays lit until engine is turned off and restarted. Anyone solve this problem?

A read of the Mitsi Workshop Manual (available via links at www.lisho.net) may explain what uis going on in these situations. I think it is no error as such, but if you get wheelspin that the cardigan-wearing TCL ECU thinks is unrealistic - then it flags a fault. If you are being more-aggressive than the cardigan-wearing nature of the vehicle, then all is sweet - no real problem with TCL system? Workshop manual will explain what error codes can occur.
