I would be keen to hear from anyone who has experienced the following problem and what action resolved the issue:
Three weeks ago I had an LPG conversion on my 380 SIII. After 300kms on gas the engine warning lamp illuminated.

best place to start is get a readout on what caused the engine light.
visit a dealer or find an SA member with a code reader, will pretty much tell you exactly where to look.
may be that once cleared it wont come back.

I bought a Siii last year with the factory approve LPG apparentely post fitted - original delivery to Budget
I have done 10,000 K with no lights , but can't get any after market OBD11 scanner to work - maybe your problem lies in how original ECU talks to LPG system - is it the factory approved sequentialvapour injection pack?

Same thing happened to me after about 300k (also SIII). Just took it back and they readjusted some (trimmings I think?) and then it was fine.

I assume that the engine light goes out if you switch back to petrol?
I had a similar thing happen after a service on my old Magna... turned out that one of the leads between the LPG unit and the engine wasn't quite seated properly so the fuel injector "emulator" in the LPG system wasn't sending the signal through to the car, hence the engine light.

Mine had the same problem as Minotaur. Discovered it today when I noticed the lead only just sitting there, not connecting. Seated it right and no more engine light on LPG.

Glad you got it fixed without costing any thing. I got someone out to do an LPG service and look at the problem, only cost $50 so wasn't too bad.
