Dead easy. Remove trim, use a sharp object to pierce a hole in the black stuff between the body and glass, then pass a strong wire through the hole. Wrap the ends around two screw drivers, and use a sawing motion to cut through the black stuff.
You may want to remove rear vision mirror and visors first, and move the head lining away drom the cutting wire so it doesn't get damaged.

Saw around the edges and sides. For the bottom, use a long flat bladed knife to saw through. There are two metal supports along the bottom, cut either side of those.

Push the screen out gently.

Any nick or scratch around the edge will start a crack. About $250 for anew screen.

Clean glass, body opening. Use the right adhesive to glue it back in.

Be careful to not damage trim or clips when removing. If the clips are not reusable, glue the trim down with acid free silicone, hold on with masking tape and when set clean up with single edged razor blade on the glass and turps on the paint work.

Doable but time consuming. I've done 3 so far, but all starting with a broken screen. Nice man in a van comes out with a new screen and glues it in for me.

Having my front screen replaced recently I can tell you an old screen is near impossible to remove without cracking, even by professionals.

Ill back that.. Most people will not care about cracking the screen if its getting replaced. How ever it can be done but prob best left to the pros.

Why do you need to remove..?? Leaking can be fixed without removing.

Rust repair? It's the only time I can think of why a screen needs to be taken out intact.
