Is it worth swapping the VR-X one with a LR2779, Lukey 2.5" Rear Muffler Bolt on kit? Will there be any performance gains from this or just sound better? Sorry if this has already been asked.

No performance gain unless you are to change the whole catback. However will give it note more.

The Lukey LR2779 is the aftermarket replacement for the stock Sports/VRX muffler, and it's virtually identical.

On a related note to the Lukey guys.
If i was to buy one of these for my TF (it has a 3.5l exhaust system front to back) would it just bolt straight on?
If so, would any exhaust shop be able to order one in, that I would be able to install myself? (if it is, bolt on lol)

I'm interested in getting the Lukey because I've really only heard good things about it, but I'm stingy and don't wanna pay for labor if it would be a simple job to do by myself.....

The LR2779 isn't bolt on, it's just the muffler.

The ALsomething or rather includes the axleback pipe and is bolt on, however the quality is shit compared to the LR2779 but essentially the same thing.
