The title says it all. My car got a bit of a nudge a month ago but since last night my car alarm keeps going off and its got to the point where I have to disconnect the battery every time I'm done driving. I'm gonna take it to mitsubishi on Friday but I was hoping for someone else's opinion to what it is.

I'd be checking the bonnet switch, possibily door switches, not a lot else it could be. Where was the nudge you said you got? Might give a hint of where to look if you think that may of caused it.

Is it an aftermarket alarm..?

If so.. Unplug the fuel and starter wires from the box and connect them up..

Then start the car.. Alarm will be disabled until you can get it fixed!

I got rear ended and pushed into the back of a ute so that narrows it down I suppose but I have been hearing something moving around in the left hand door (i think that's where it is, its a bit hard trying to find it when driving)

The bonnet switch is VERY common.

It sits to the left of the radiator, try give your bonnet a tap and see if it sets it off.

Easy fix if it is that is to disconnect the cable .. I think you are supposed to ground it to the chassis i can't quite recall.
