Hi all,
What five stud wheels will fit a TR ???,,,,,as I have seen lots of cheap mag/alloy wheels that are five stud, but they have come from a toyota or ford or commodore or what ever.
Thanks

Commodores are a no go. Pre AU Falcons are a no go. Most Jap 5 stud ones are suitable. Just have to find ones with suitable offset and centre bore diameter.

Nago,

I run 16 x 7 Toyota Soarer factory alloys on my TS, right offset just had to open up the centre bore about 3ml. 225 50 16 tyres gives you close to standard rolling circumference and does not mess with speedo accuracy to much. majordad

if you run 8" wide you should run no less then +35 offset and no more then +45. If you go 7" wide you can run no less then +22 but can run up to +55.

you need 5 stud 114.3mm Centre to centre studs commonly just 5x114.3
offset is stamped on the inside of the mag and is either written as ET40, +40 or just 40 for a 40mm offset
you can fit as big a diamater as yuo want up to about 20" if you have the money or actually like 20"to start with, not everyones cup of tea.
if you buy with tyres use an online calculator to find out if the tyres suit the same rolling diamater as stock for instance a 205/65/r15 is the same as a 235/45/r18 that wont put your speed out.
othewise take the mags down to a tyre mob and tell them what car they are going on and they will select the correct tyre.
