Hey all.
Got me a KF clock from an xi at a wreckers nearby, with the matching speed alarm/clock setting switch. Just thought id post up the progress
Working on integrating it into my TJ II sportswagon.
Its going okay - figuring out what all the wires do... Im thinking I wont bother making it go dimmer when the lights are on, that would be too much hassle.
Other than that it should be too hard, I plan to just hook the contstant 12v up to where it needs to be aswell as accesories, it should all work then. Also, the warning lights that are currently in that space of my wagon (battery and oil) are both on the new display. They work by grounding a cable that I can just wire onto the new display easily enough! Also, the current one has a seatbelt light, which I dont deem necessary (its not on the kf one anyway)
As for the switch, I will make a short loom (~30 cm) and let it sit behind the lighter barrel, so if need be I can adjust it after disconnecting the battery etc.
This way I can still have my trip computer etc in my speedometer and a clock aswell!
Just thought id post it up, and say its possible. Well, hopefully.

The clock in mine is out of a ke. I put the time adjustment switches in the centre console. The dimmer is easy, just use the light feed from the stereo.
