Lookin at these 3 different types of rims in 18". Which one do you think looks best? I have a soft spot for the tracers :D
Left to right:
Rex Spike
Tracer
Spider

I agree, if you have to choose between the three in the pictures. The Tracers are by far the best looking in my opinion.

Chrome or the splintered plastic look doesn't bode well with me.

hmm i really like the Spider ones they look sweet and are different but the Tracer i like too! :cool:

Tracer's are my choice too but in Chrome coz i have Black car :)

also make sure you check with your insurance company first before putting on the rims

coz its no good that for 0.5"-1" wider rim you endup changing the insurance companies and pay more premium.

also check your state laws as well to see how bigger is allowed.

In VIC 2" bigger in diameter (i.e. 15" - 17" , 16" - 18", etc) and 1" (i.e. 6" - 7", etc) wider is maximum allowed for RWC.

Got to agree with everyone on here. Choice 2 or 3. I'd go choice 2.

i think the decision is clear, go the tracers :D i like them too. rim 1 looks plastic and just crappy, like vault krystals, savannahs etc. third one is ok, but tracers are better :)

haha.. looks like the tracers are a winner. Which is good, because 1 is a bit too 'out there' for me i think and the 3's looked a bit odd when photochoped.
As for insurance, i am with Just Cars, so they cover all these kinds of things without too much hassle :D
Next question is, which colour? Chrome or shadow chrome (as seen)? I have a dark green magna, which has been mistaken for black at night time.

1st of all,- not chrome ('cos they are sooooo 2001, and only belong on 24" SUV's)

2nd- the tracers look alot like mine. and also you should know that the deep "dishness" of the rims will make them look smaller due to the fact that the spokes dont go all the way to the edge of the rim. trust me, my 19's look like largish 17's from some angles.

3rd - not chrome

Go the chromes , the look good on every colour especially the dark colours.

Shadow chromes also look good but with dark colour car they will be too dull and not out standing

actually ask few photo chop champions here to do chop for you and you can decide later.


but $$$ wise shadow chromes are cheaper though

yea, i'm a bit unsure at colour at the moment. The chromes often look almost white in the pictures and are a bit more expensive.. but i definately want them to stand out.. will have to see other peoples rims i spose :confused:

5 spoke racing wheels will stand out, but alas are too ***** expencive. go the middle ones a shadow chrome or a darker colour
