Hey guys, got a new second hand engine for my 93 TR Auto, now I think its a 1st gen engine has it has the different inlet manifold, is there any issues running this engine on my 2nd gen Magna?, its done 160,000kms (compared to my 180,000kms), and will it be a straight fit or do I need to change a few things?
heres a picture the seller sent to me,

if you wanted to use a first gen motor
you need to drill and tap the block for the
knock sensor its at the back of the motor
between the welsh plugs area
everything else would be ok

oh ok, how hard is that to do, thinking about looking for an actual 2nd gen one so its just a simply install which is annoying :(.
Edit: Oh wait so its a 2nd Gen motor with a 1st Gen inlet manifold?

thats definately a 1st gen plenum
opps my booboo  sorry for the confusion
its a first gen plenum
you just need a gasket and fit your TR plenum
onto that motor in the picture
and worry about that knock sensor

Yeah just got pick up the KS Verada Tail lights next week and skip on the engine, not really likely having a 1st gen engine in a 2nd gen, so my looking continues :(
