My son has a 3.0L V6 TR Auto Magna. Has been running fine - no problems.. In fact a sweet little car despite the fact that it is gutless (Well, at least compared to my 3.5 Manual VRX - haha) ;-)
It has however just developed a MAJOR oil leak... Oil just about appears to be PISSING out of the engine on the rear, passenger side.. Somewhere near the alternator.... Appears to be only/predominately when the engine is running so it looks like some sort of seal has let go and is leaking (a lot) when the oil is pumping.
Anybody have any ideas what is back there that could have let go that would leak so badly.... There is literally a fairly contant trickle of oil coming out whenever the enginer is running...
Any ideas would be appreciated.. and advice re: how hard the issue is going to be to fix.....
