I want to put mesh in the front bar like this one (not grille)
all I can tell from the picture is that its one piece of mesh (unlike seeing some using 2 pieces where there was 2 parts of plastic) so would the bar have to come off and attached from behind or do people use the existing screw holes to hold the mesh in? - althought i think id have to bend the ends in when i saw how the plastic end pieces were held in.
if someone has more specific photos/diy thatd be great otherwise im looking to hear some ideas thrown as im doing this tomorrow. thanks

I haven't ever seen one done, but to be honest I think the best way to do it would be to take off the front bar..
Then take off the bottom grill things and the foglight ones (unless you have foglights). Then attach it from the back. Would look a lot neater because you wouldn't be able to see the edges of the mesh.
I'd also advise not using one big piece. Would be easier to use one piece for either side and a smaller piece for the middle. That way you don't have such a large piece of mesh to try and keep tight when you are attaching it to the bar.
Good luck and post some photos when you're done!

affirmative that, ill be using one piece per section, just that ive seen one where it had 2 lenghts per side, but how would this stay on the bumper? glue?

Looks like the guy cut out the middle of his grille and sanded it all back then put the mesh behind it.
Not an easy thing to do.
Hope you're ready to get pulled over repeatedly lol

Never done it before, but I imagine attaching the mesh from behind with a hot glue gun would be the way to go. I would make sure that the mesh 'overlaps' the bumper opening, as if you cut it to size but get it a little wrong, it looks hell tacky.
Speaking of tacky, I have to say, I'm not a big fan of mesh unless it's black...

yes it is quite a soreye being a light colour haha
unfortunately hot glue wont be very umm a solid attachment to the bumper, maybe itll have to be screwed in? (there is something else going on it later which is a bit heavy and is a bit of an eye catcher that I dont want pulled away easily)
