Wait..slow down.

1. You installed a headunit.
2. The indicators stopped working at some point after you installed the headunit. Did they work for a period of time after the install but before they failed?
3. You then plugged the hazards in....What does that mean? The wiring, the switch, the relay, the flasher can? At which stage the indicators worked..?
4. You disconnected something else to and then reconnected the hazard lights and now neither your hazard lights nor your indicators work.
5. You suspect it may be a relay or a fuse.

Is this correct? I had a bit of a hard time following what you've written.

Sounds like you've blown the hazards fuse.

During a head unit install you unplug the hazards switch, with this unplugged the indicators do not work. I've done it a couple times myself... Just don't plug it back in while "on" or you've got a chance at blowing the fuse.

Grab some mini wedge fuses from a servo and DIY :) there are 2 fuse boxes, they are fairly self explanatory... Just look for the indicator icons. Fuse boxs are by your right foot, and in the engine bay next to the airbox.

Where in NSW are you?

The little black cover with lots of pictures on it for the drivers kick
The box black box with lots of pics above the battery for the engine bay

There is a fuse puller inside the cover for the drivers kick, makes it easy to remove the fuses.

Supercheap, Repco, Autobarn, etc.. all have them, just make sure to replace any blown fuses with one of equal rating.

Need more clues and model make and year? Also did you plug the hazard switch back into the main wiring loom?
