my starter motor died tonight,RACQ got it started to get me home but wont start anymore.
what do think i should do go to the wreckers get a 2ed hand one with the lowest KMs?
or what ?
most likely be upgrade my manga soon

Depends how much they are new. Can't imagine it being more than say $200 brand new, but having said that, you can probably get one from the wreckers for $50 or so. Shouldn't be too hard a job to do yourself either.

When you take it out, the bolt going from the gearbox side through into the starter motor doesn't have much clearance around it, might not be able to get a ratchet in there and its a bit deep for a spanner, use a breaker bar or if you didn't have one at the time I managed to get it off with a socket, adapter, universal joint, and long extension.

iv got it up on rams ATM can u give me any more steeps to help me out? and can i get the part off a 3.5l in to my 3.0l?
