hi all, I installed a set of alpine splits and running off an alpine amp and kenwood H/U and all was fine at first but now sometimes the mid and tweet on the right channel are really crackly and crappy and when i really crank it theyll come fine and then i can turn it down again and itll be ok. this happens randomly.any ideas please. ........ ps all new items xcept the amp which ive had for years. cheers shaun

Try switching the channels on the amp. Left speaker with right channel, right speaker with left channel.

If it starts to crackle on the other side, then it could be your amp. If it continues to crackle on the same side, then it could be the cabling or the speaker itself...

Check all connections and make sure they are good - did you solder the wire to the speakers or use spade connectors?
