I have just had timing belt kit put in my TJ as well as new plugs, leads, rotor button and distributor cap at 186000 klm's. Now I occasionally get a bit of a thump when transmission goes back to third gear but not all the time. I last had a service of the transmission at130000. I have been advised to have the local Mitsubishi dealer do a service and flush the transmission and torque converter out. They have quoted $180 for the job. Does this sound right?

yeah from what I've read $180 sounds OK for a flush.
