Hey guys just wanted to know what you thought about the best wheel sizing for a 3rd gen.
I have found some wheels that are 18x8.5 +45 offset

What would be the ideal offset to stop rubbing of the tyres?
My ralliart is only on lows and won't be any lower.

I don't care about the legalities of a 8.5" wheel, just want to know what would be the ideal offset.
I presume a higher offset is better then you can always use thin spacers to make them fit nicely?

+35 will rub on flares, +38, most on here has this, so I reckon +40, still pushes the rims out but enough to stop rubbing.
+46 is std offset for our cars.

Can i have a +1 to this?
Many views with the same opinion help ease my mind but thanks a heap grelise :)

The wheels come in 18x8.5 with +30,+35, +40, +45, +48 Hopefully they have a centre bore that is big enough and i can order some of these beauties...

I have bent guards thanks to +38 235's (tyre grabbed the guard and pulled it).
