Yesterday, I drove home from Sydney against a fearfully strong headwind. It was actually coming more from 45 degrees off due headwind. I was doing about 110 km/h, against winds which the Bureau of Meteorology recorded at about 70+ km/h.

The passenger side windows were popping out - my wife reckoned about 15 mm or so at the top. The wind noise was horrific. I was concerned about the wind loading on the glass causing the whole pane to break and blow out. In places, I had to ease off the throttle because of this but the glass still kept blowing out. I have only just replaced the rear window because a wayward garage door spring hit it and snashed it when the spring broke, so I am still paranoid about things like this.

Has anyone here experienced the side windows bulging out in strong wind conditions like this?

I have, but not on a Magna.

My Scorpion does it all the time, I don't think it's the glass itself that's bending but the bits that it connects to inside the door having some free play in them. Unfortunately it seems to be a common problem in cars that use frameless glass.

lol, my driver side window is permantly popped out.... i hear this "scream" whenever the windows are up and im travelling faster than 60km/h.

u get used to it after a while. however, lowering the window by about 1 cm greatly reduces the sound and flexing
