which look better and why?

The first ones because they blend in better with the other lights.

yeah ive always preferred the executive indicators, the clear just looks better inho however you will get people on the forums who think the orange look better end of the day they do the same job and the prefrance is yours as to what looks better

Yeah in the end always personal preference, I find the clear do look more flush with the colour of the car and headlights, but I don't like seeing that touch of orange centre globe, ruins it, which is why I also like the other ones, you can see it is clearly a indicator, and I think they look better when in operation, but eh, am just curious on which may be better.

Nice suggestion Sparky, the orange corners seem to date the car, and when they are well kept, they don't look that old.
The blending factor helps too.

thanks for that sparky, gonna look at doing that soon myself then :P and then also look at getting some 380 side blinkers ordered in as well to match the fronts :P

Also get a pair of phantom bulbs for your indicators, they flash orange but look silver from the outside in normal light. Couldnt find them in shops, but theres a seller on e-bay who has phantom globes that fit 380 side indicators too.

The second one, I hate the half orange, half clear look. Looks dodgy to me. You could also try tinting them.

My ones came tinted from another user on here. I'm pretty sure they were the standard exec ones, in your first photo.

I know it's a little bit of a thread mine but I haven't been online for ages. I reckon the orange verada indicators look great on a car that isn't either black, white or grey. It just seems to add another dimension. As for black, white or grey I think the clear indicators with the orange section removed looks better, especially with the phantom globes. It was a little while ago when I did my indicators but I found the phantom globes at Autobarn for a reasonable price. My indicators are also tinted to match the parabolics but if you're not going to upgrade you headlights I reckon leaving your clear indicators untinted would look great. Hope this helps.

I have also seen some 2nd gens which have the clear indicaters, but they put like a nite shade trim around the case of the indicater, which don't look half bad.

But for my car, I got the yellow rear tail lights, which I like IMO, and matches having side yellow and front indicaters, If I were to change the fronts to clear white, would want to change the sides as well, but then the rears would look odd, so really yeah lol, currently I like the yellow ones and sticking with those.
