How hard is it to install one? and what happens to the sercurity there is a little light on the radio headunit the stock one?
thanks,
piss easy to install, if replacing the stock unit with a aftermarket unit then you dont need to worry about the security..its on that headunit not the car
i suggest you do a forums search their have been a couple of decent guides posted before

That should help you out. And read this thread http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52841&p=772718&viewfull=1#post772718
The easiest way to wire in a new stereo is to use the wiring loom harness adapters from AERPRO which can be purchased from Autobarn.

You wont need to look for anything particularly for a TE, as all the third gen Magna fascias are pretty much the same :).
The thread Nemesis posted has pretty much everything you'll ever need to know :P.

What brand headunit are you installing?
..GONE..

You can get Aerpro Harnesses to suit particular brands & particular headunits..
OR
You can get a BLANK Aerpro Harness - Which plugs into the Mitsu Harness and then has blank wires, which is great if your OCD and like to make sure things are done your way!

hi installing headunits can be easy or hard(how loongs a piesce of grass concept) first off:disconnect battery terminals, take your dash fascia out, remove old headunit this light is a cd security coding light(so you cant use a cd player without the code),seens it may be your first install buy a loom that straight fits your desired head unit(consult your audio distributor if your unsure which 1 to match your head unit)these are usally between $15 to $50,this is the easiest and safest way, blank harnesse's are usally for headunits that don't have looms pre made for them or custom installs hope this helps a little bit,so nemesis is spot on the money basically all up lo

What features do you want in a headunit? Are you just looking to have a cd player in your car or are you wanting to eventually upgrade the speakers and add an amp?
Installation is the same as almost every other headunit.

2nd down in the list the pionner is decent for a basic audio install,, 98 + 20 for loom adaptor= your budget of 120 personaly i hate sony but some people love them
when installed dont just twist the wires and put them back in together at the very least grab a role of electrical tape $2.00 for nitto at ricerbarn and tape over the twists if you feel confident with a soldering iron twist, solder and tape
