View Full Version : Supercharger Setup
Hay all
Soon in the near future Ill be fitting a raptor supercharger kit to my 3.5l. Ill probably go upto a max off 11psi. Wat exact parts will i have to replace in my bottem end for this setup.? How much roughly?

From what I think but not 100% on
Forged pistons (wouldn't know where to get them other that RPW) probably $900+?
Conrods $800+?
Bottomend bearings
higher Lph fuel pump
That's all I can think of at the moment for 3:30am:)
I'm looking to do the same thing but still pricing around so I would love answers to:)

A while ago got quoted $3700 for forged short block supply + $400 core charge, Included pistons, rods, boring, balanced & supplied with gaskets. its not a cheap exercise you ll be looking well past $5,000 once its all in place & thats without any head work.....
PS if you are doing engine work 11 psi is a bit weak IMO. Forged short block i was quoted for would take past 25psi
