Hello guys, how do i go ahead reattaching the slim line weathershields that encompass the front and rear windows of the car?? All the clips that came with it are broken. I have tried going to Supercheap and Repco to buy this clips but it seems they no longer stock it.

Can i just stick them on with some double sided tape? If yes, what brands would be ideal for such an application?

I have read on threads that the weathershield increases wind noise and does not really deflect rain. Would it block sufficient rain to say smoke in the car while driving and raining?

Avoid the tape - tape strong enough to hold is going to be tape strong enough to pull the paint off... if you can find a double sided tape that strong. I personally wouldn't trust it, it may work but I'd still question it. My second job is at one of the places mentioned and I'm asked this same question a lot. The only suggestion is to contact the supplier. The calls I've made, at work, have been to one supplier only and I didnt have any luck. Their company line being to purchase another set of weathershields. Sperling/Aunger and Haigh/Protective Plastics are the two manufacturers that come to mind. I've just had a quick look at both websites and cant find anything specific... but, I am only on my first coffee.

After that its eBay, either for the screws/clips or replacement units.
