110 on public roads with the speed limit allowing of course.

Never tried it, i've heard of either auto and manual getting a tad over 240 though.

Well where is it losing power? are all your gears working fine? and what do you mean about 150. Do you mean when it gets to 150 it stops accellerating quickly or it just stops accellerating?

All regular 3rd gens are 210 or under. Ralliart models are 240.

We'll it is a v6. In my manual one 1st gear is over the top.. it doesn't grip. 2nd gear grips well and pushes you into your seat a bit. 3rd is less accelleration but still a bit of a thrill because you are doing over 100km/h. 4th and 5th well don't really accelerate anything to amazing but certainly aren't sloppy when overtaking.

The limiter can be removed from the ECU rather easily in a TJ+ model, however I cannot think of a track straight in Australia long enough for an N/A Magna to reach that kind of speed, so I'm not going to offer any assistance here.

i no of two different manual ralliarts that have both been past 240km/h .. one dead stock, one supercharged.... barley past the 240km/h mark but then again i wonder if the speedo's are even that accurate at these speeds?

Sounds bloody good to me. If yours is automatic and you are getting 600kms a tank that's good. I love my Ralliart.

Eastern creek shouldn't be too hard - I cruised down the main straight at about 80, got to the grandstand and then floored it, went around turn 1 at 130kph.
That was in my wife's 1.5L automatic Toyota.
Any V6 magna should be able to top 180 down the EC straight IMO, and with a bit of work or driving skill out of turn 12, easily top 200.

So, guys with a Ralliart, please go for a track day to EC and see how fast you can go down the striaght.

Hayden, if you get there to test as well and your car struggles to go past 150, then there is something stopping it. I don't know what to check, but it does sound odd.
I'd suggest doing some 0-100 timings or even just say 40-80 in a single gear or something that you can measure legally & repeatedly and compare with others to see if there's something wrong.
(40-80 would be good because you could do this in 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th. Compare timings with someone and it might highlight an issue at a certain rpm).

i am thinking about getting the ecu re-flashed..i can get it done in penrith ,but i am not sure how much difference it will make..the guy said if he has the program for the ralliart it is $650 or $850 if he doesn't..i also want to find someone who can darken the taillights(legal darkness of course).

Its not in limp mode is it? Does it change gears or have you just got 3rd?

In the manual, 3rd gear tops out around 150km/h, 4th managed around 205km/h before a change to 5th was necessary.

Haven't had it any higher than that. My speedo is 1km/h too fast, according to a couple GPS' i've had in it.

The 240 limiter isn't too difficult to get to, providing you're slightly insane and have a long enough bit of private or unrestricted road. Few tracks would be long enough, as standard Ralliarts start to get no-balls syndrome after 200.

That's a little worrying. You should be getting around 100 out of 2nd.

my th 4sp will do 83kmh in first, and about 130kmh 2nd?? cant remember what 2nd was, been awhile since i was last at flinders rangers, my bets are the gearbox, maybe get "bitsaremissing" to give it a service? when was the last time tranny got flushed??

Dean and TJTime have seen a lot of def maps. Mine is 300 for lols.
There's little chance I would get to even the stock limiter speed due to sanity but it's all good fun.

definite problem, I've seen a stock 2nd gen with 2.6lt and automatic hit 150!
Maybe trans by sound of it?

ECU reflash would be a waste IMO, without fixing whatever the problem is first.
