So in my quest to find a double-din fascia for my 380 I came across:

While it says it's for the Galant, the Aircon openings look to be in the same spot as the 380s. Does anyone know if this would fit?

The reason I am looking at this one is it comes with the side-mount kit. I sent fascias.com.au an email over a week ago asking if theirs came with this and have yet to receive a response.

Thanks. Bought and paid for one last night. Ended up costing exactly AU$35 after PayPal currency conversion. Now I just gotta decide what deck to put in it. Am tossing up between building a CarPC and getting one of those Orion AVR6.1 decks.

BTW Maggie the reason I didn't spot this one when I did search eBay was because the seller didn't explicitly say he would post to AU in the listing parameters. Hence it didn't appear in my search.

I know pretty much nothing about car audio, but I assume an MS-8 is some sort of amp :)

Look up JBL MS-8 ... it's a digital processor, it basically will equalise the incoming signal & provide up to 8 channels out. It also equalises the car enviroment & time aligns the sound to all seating locations if you wish. I'm puting in a high end system so want good quality right through.

Now thinking the Clarion NX501A instead ...

Very similar specs to the AVR6.1. I managed to order an AVR6.1 last night during the JB F&F sale for $1256, just need to wait for it to come in as they were out of stock, but I will be waiting a couple of weeks for the new fascia to come in anyway.

Wow :eek2: What's an F&F sale? I never heard about it.

The Clarion doesn't have digital radio but has a higher quality screen & the 24 bit DAC's for SQ.
